George W. Powell, Jr. has extensive experience in land use matters, as a planner, counselor, developer and attorney. Having served on and chaired a major municipal planning board, Mr. Powell is well versed in the issues regarding planning and zoning, and knows the development process thoroughly. In this planning capacity Mr. Powell has been responsible for the development of a complete municipal master plan and its implementing zoning ordinance.

George represents property owners and developers in obtaining the necessary planning and zoning approvals, zoning changes, and permits pertaining to their projects. He has handled zoning ordinance issues for numerous clients and has participated in all phases of the planning of local governments.
